I’m delighted to welcome the marvellous, madcap and crazily inventive Pantaloons Theatre Company back to Billericay to perform their own twist on the Jane Austen classic ‘Sense & Sensibility’ in the Rectory Garden on Sunday 30 June 2019.
Doors open at 4.00 pm, performance starts at 5.00 pm
Elinor Dashwood has a lot of good Sense. Her sister Marianne Dashwood has an excess of Sensibility. Together they make a snappy title for Jane Austen’s classic novel of scandals, scoundrels and severely sprained ankles.
This funny, fast-paced and faithful new adaptation from the critically acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company features live music, audience interaction, romance and heartbreak.
Part alternative rock band, part thespian … wholly charming.
So good you may laugh your Pantaloons off!
The Pantaloons are firm favourites here in Billericay and all of their past shows (Pride & Prejudice, A Christmas Carol and The Importance Of Being Earnest) were sell-outs and I expect tickets for this event will sell very quickly too – so don’t delay.
TICKETS are very reasonably priced at: Adults £14 & fees (gate £16) / 13-17 yrs £7 & fees (gate £8) / under 12’s free! These are available from
